I dont remember what I was striving for with this piece. I think I was thinking about the things that live in your rug..I made it to mock someone on DA this was suppose to be gross looking.
Feh.
very interesting. not sure how to critique this but.
well lets see, I think that if you used a different color rug it might look better. i like the idea and I would actually like to see it done like the blue tomato one in a way. I could picture a whole little city down there, that'd be pretty neat.
nice concept.
I actually was going to add a door not on top but one underneath with a welcome mat but the justification on this one is just so wierd, I was hoping you'd critique this one to give me some insight since I dont exactly know what to do about it.
There is actually a piece in your gallery, something with a cross, the picture from the thumb reminded me of a large person laying there and a little village in his shadow- Going to attempt something like that next.

This newsletter was "born" back in March 2007, from a conversation between ~Lareth and =FrozenStarRo, who with the help of their friends *Iardacil and =Sylwiaa , wanted to make something to promote known and unknown photomanipulators alike here on DeviantArt. As of September 2009 =ImaginaryRosse joined the project and will be helping us out with the weekly choices. While things have changed over time, the essence of the newsletter is still the same. As of recent, the talented =Behana has joined us in bringing you this weekly newsletter and we are excited to have her on board. This is a special feature, with a selection of 50 manips from the past year that we loved.
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.

I like it though.
Although the thought of the snail living on or under my carpet disturbs me as I find them creepy enough as they are.
Its my excuse for the composition since we are dealing with a odd thought.
That and the rug and its contents had to exist in that corner - I only had so much of the picture.
